Currently undertaking her honours thesis at the University of Southern Queensland, Dominique is examining the impact of Western Australian heritage legislation on rock art in the Pilbara.

Her research interests lie at the intersection of heritage legislation, intangible heritage management, and the relationship between anthropology and archaeology.

Dominique’s experience includes archaeological excavation techniques, artefact analysis, and historical research, with hands-on skills in setting up excavation trenches, field recording, and stratigraphy analysis.

She is proficient in using total stations, automatic levels, and GPS devices, and is skilled interpreting data and legislation ensuring legally compliant heritage outcomes.

In addition to her professional work, Dominique has a passion for photography, with her travel and Perth-based work featured in publications like Condé Nast Traveller and Yen Magazine.
